NERF Raptor Conference 2024.

16th November 2024 we will be at the brilliant North of England Raptor Forum conference and this year it is being hosted by the Calderdale Raptor Study Group in Halifax.

I (Jimmi) will be there with a small stand also supporting our friends Richard Sale and Steve Watson selling their 2nd edition of the Peregrine Falcon book. The lineup of speakers as always looks brilliant and if it’s half as good as last year it will be a cracking day! I sometimes think newcomers and/or interested parties might be a bit wary of attending an event like this, but you really needn’t be, the world of raptor monitoring has changed a lot from secret groups meeting in privacy - get involved, this is a great event to get a taste of it and make sure you come and say hello!

Raptor Aid has a lot of love for the work of all the groups that make up NERF and the hard work that NERF does as a collective for birds of prey.
